When the January Blues is creeping in on you but you've put bells on it so it doesn't sneak up on you:
This is an indie-folk / stripped-down version of an otherwise upbeat indie-rock track that I've just released in November. Given the season, it tends to get a bit gloomy and introspective with some strong hints of January Blues. It also works as a stand-alone song as its gloomy aesthetics and moody atmosphere go well with the song's overall message: Life is what happens to us while we're busy making rushed decisions (strongly paraphrasing here).
